i will consider your ideas but could you tell me more details? or maybe a schematic?
i saw this on lm317 datasheet can i do that? does it work with 3 separate power sources and loads with connected power sources grounds together?
tnx
the point of isolating the lm317 is to be able to control multiple lm317 with diffrent power sources and loads with one pots.i've searched all over to find 4-gang pots and i found nothing so i have to use one pot. beside i dont know so much about optocouplers maybe the idea if using them for...
tnx for your reply.this schematic is a simple thing that i drew to show what i wanna do to use an optocoupler instead of a pot i dont know the exact circuit and that's what i'm asking. i just wanna know what kind of optocoupler can i use and what is the working circuit? i need that optocoupler...
actually it should be isolated and as i say i dont know so much about optocoupler so that moc3053 is just a referrer to an optocoupler and the model of optocoupler is my question!!!
the main point is to control 2 of this circuit with one pot! so i have to separate this two circuit with optocoupler!
hi
i'm trying to use optocoupler to have variable voltage by lm317 something like this:
sorry if there is something wrong with the schematic!!
and it's first time i'm using optocouplers! and have no idea how to choose the right one!
how can i choose the right optocoupler?
tnx
the leds and power supplies can be separated! its 220v ac power main with wires!
i dont have eny schematic of PSUs they are in a plastic box and are sold with leds
the power supplies are the ones come with leds and are tiny switching power supplies.
i don't know if i can connect power supplies in parallel and expect to have a stable system!
each row is in the same table and should be dim together.
each led has its own power supply in 12v 4w. the power rating for 555 circuit is 12v 1amp but with one power supply that i dont wanna happen!
the leds are working right now with their own power supply that are not dimmable so i have to...
these leds are light source for tables in a restaurant . the light from outside is different in each table so they should be controlled separately
the voltage of each led is 12v and each led has its own power supply.45 power source. if i wanna use same power supply for each row i have to change...
betwixt i will definitely consider your recommendation but its as is situation and it should be simple stable and economic. there are 45 4w leds with their own power source in 3 2 and 1 in rows and they should be able to control them in each row. the single leds are simple but in 2 and 3 there...
hi
i need to control output of 2 or 3 78xx regulator with one potentiometer there are separate power source and leds and a chip way to dim their lights.
how can i do that? :D
well i think at last i`m getting some result. i tried to send some dummy bytes (255) before the main data and mainly tried to lower the data rate to 250 bps and now its working properly.
i`ve not tested this thoroughly , but i think its gonna work.
thanks to anyone who share their knowledges...

i will consider getting relays away from RF , but in testing board that i`ve made i had not install relays on the board.
the RF tx module is between lcd and mcu.
