First of all excuse me for my English.
What's difference between DCM & CCM overall bandwidth in flyback or forward converter?
Dose overall bandwidth in CCM is narrow than DCM? or in other word compensation network at CCM is faster than DCM?
Hi for all
Dose Transfer Function equations is correct?
I want to design LED Driver based on L6562N and TSM101AC but i have 2 problems:
1. OVP dose not work at NO LOAD!
2. Output voltage ripple is very noisy!
I think reason of problems is transfer function!
Hi for all
I want to design DC-DC converter with 320watt output power with Boost converter and UC3842A controller! But i don't know does it possible or no?
I read some posts of this group and see for converter 12v to 260v offered SG3526 with PUSH-PULL or HALF-B topology!!!
Now my question...
Thanks for reply Mr.Goldsmith and excuse me for my English
I forgot that 100 volts applied to the calculation. I used below equation to calculating maximum voltage to secondary and I know in forward and flyback converter 10 percent of maximum duty cycle is dead time and available duty cycle is...
Hi Mr.goldsmith
According to your papers I try to design 40watt switching transformer with forward topology. In attach file you can see all specifications. But I have three question:
1. Dose it my transformer equations is right? What percentage is to work well?
2. In your papers you don't use...
Hi again my Friend
I think my some of problems related to the Feedback network! Because in no load duty cycle change form 1% to 23% and not stable!
One other question:
when i measure voltage of source pin of MOSFET, the waveform of this pin is very very bad and have to many spikes ! I read...
Hi FvM
Thanks to reply
1. I mean the Spike is the large voltage in the primary winding due to leakage inductance in the transformer
2. Leakage inductance
3. Desaturation winding ratio with primary winding is 1:1
4. I attach schematic without Snubbers and Clamp circuit.
5. I use forward topology...
Hi for all
First of all sorry for my English
I have very big problem in forward converter! My Voltage Spike in NO LOAD is very high and i can't control this voltage with RCD clamp! I used Voltage clamp and "Rate of Rise" snubber to decrease this spike but resister of RCD network is very hot...
Hi my friends
Can i use formulas of "AN-1162" for calculate current-mode compensation network? if no, Can you give me a practical reference like AN1162 to design stable feedback loop for current-mode?
I use UC3845 and TSM101A for design constant current power supply.
Hi dear Goldsmith
First of all thanks for you files and excuse me for my english
in picture 4 your draw a Current Density vs Frequency curve.
Can you give me reference of this curve?
Thanks
