Re: Circuit for measuring the current and voltage accros dio what do you mean by on/off chip

Circuit for measuring the current and voltage accros diode

I wnat to design an analog circuit to give a reading about the voltage and current a cross the diode , can any one help me?

    what is capacitive loads ?

the resistve load is a pure resistance load such as resistor, whreras inductive load such as ideal coils , and capacitve load is like ideal capacitors ( the difference between capactive and inductive load one makes the current lead the voltage and the other is the opposite)

Why do people sometimes put multiple decoupling cap on the same node?

Re: Decoupling cap Normally, decouple capacitor is used to stabilies the voltage if there is afluctuation.

The difference between voltage and current transformer?

Re: TRansformer In connection the difference between them in connection one is connected in series and the other is connected in parallel.

    transistor AC Analysis

the usage of by pass capacitor is to block the DC conponent of the input signal. the capacitor is model as short circuit because the capcitor allow the AC to move through it.

The difference between 1/4W and 1/2W resistors

Re: Resistors Confusion the difference is that the 1/2 w resistor can stand more power ( current) that the other one. usually the 1/2w is greater in size. Acually, which one you should choose depend on you aplication, some need high current and others need less.

What is the difference between RMS and average current?

Re: BASIC the average valure is the DC component in the AC signal, whereas the RMS is the effective value that would generate a heat through a resistor like DC.

Which one is the best PIC programmer ?

I think ICD2 is the best because you can program and debug you program, also it programs the DSPIC.
