RizalCorona
hello everyone my name is rizal and i am an electronics circuit designer in an electronics manufacturer company.
Recently, because of the lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic season, I spent a lot of time at home making equipment on an Arduino basis.
I am working on an IOT project based on ESP-8266. This ESP-8266 module is a wifi module that is used to connect devices to the internet.
ESP8266 series ESP-01 module specifications:
• 3.3 VDC voltage
• WiFi standard 802.11 b / g / n
• Output power +19.5 dBm in 802.11 mode b
• 1 MB Flash memory, 32 Bit CPU
• SDIO 1.1 / 2.0 input connection, SPI, UART
• There are RX / TX UART pins for serial communication Wake-up function <2ms 10-bit ADC 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi
So my plan is to control several tools in my house such as:
1. Temperature sensor that can be monitored via Android.
2. My cat can be controlled via android
3. and much more.
The temperature sensor I use is LM35 because it is cheap and practical to use. In addition, the temperature sensor is also very accurate, even though the price is affordable. Coding for the LM35 is also widely used on the Internet.
To control the cat feeder I use a dc motor to open and close the feeder. The DC motor that I use is just 5VDC so it doesn't need an external battery. The point is that the DC motor is directly connected to the 5 Volt Arduino output.
So I created an android application to control it. To make this application I use a software called android studio. This Android studio uses the Java programming language. However, there are a lot of libraries in this Android Studio, making it easier to do coding.
So my goal in participating in this forum is to ask something if I have problems making this IOT project.
