Gain (output depends upon more than one input)

Re: plot the output current! Sorry, Actually I am using Cadence Virtuoso simulator.Normally I plot the gain by selecting output node first then input node in my simulator, that why i said which among three input i should select. Symbolic image of my design is attached...

Gain (output depends upon more than one input)

Re: plot the output current! Hello sir, the output current is Io= (I1 sC2+ gm I2- I3 (s^2 C1 C2 Rx+s C2+ gm ))/(s^2 C1 C2 Rx+sC2+gm ) and depends upon three inputs I1, I2, I3. its output current of current mode universal biquad filter. It implement different filter response for I1, I2, I3 value...

Gain (output depends upon more than one input)

Hello, the output current Io= (I1 sC2+ gm I2- I3 (s^2 C1 C2 Rx+s C2+ gm ))/(s^2 C1 C2 Rx+sC2+gm ) is depend upon three inputs I1,I2,I3 simultaneously. when I1=I2=I3=I (let 1mA), the ac response implement high pass filter. my problem is that after applying ac simulation how to plot gain vs...

Gain (output depends upon more than one input)

Hello frnds, I am involve in design of current mode analog circuit and working on TSMC0.18um process (cadence). Pls tell me how to find ac current gain, if output current depends upon two or three input signals.

current versus frequency plot in cadence

yes i am varying the frequency of ac input current source. pls tell me brief steps to plot current vs frequency at output as well as at input itself in cadence. - - - Updated - - - Thanks, its working. Is this affect dc operating point or not

current versus frequency plot in cadence

Thanks, the current at output terminal with 0Ω resistor plot the curve, but when i want to plot current gain (output current/input current) vs frequency curve it shows a problem, i am applying ac current source at input terminal. Is it possible to plot current vs frequency curve at input...

Current gain versus frequency plot in Cadence

sir I did this but did not work. I applied ac input current source and and taking output with resistive load connected in z terminal (Is it ok). pls tell me detailed steps... - - - Updated - - - pls show me steps for Iz/Ix vs frequency plot in cadence if possible - - - Updated - - - pls...

Current gain versus frequency plot in Cadence

Thanks, I did this thing with resistive load at z terminal but i did not get the plot. It encounter problem to plot the curve when i click on nodes for current gain. it works only when i click for voltage gain at these terminal.

Current gain versus frequency plot in Cadence

Hello, I have attached the image of my circuit. Basic function of second generation current conveyor is that current at terminal "z" follows the current at input terminal "x" (Iz=Ix) i.e gain is unity. Here i am applying the sinusoidal current at "x" terminal, now i want to plot current gain...

Current gain versus frequency plot in Cadence

actually the input is a current signal and whenever i click input and output node for current gain in ac simulation there is a problem encountered. I am using resistive load at output terminal.

    Regarding gm/Id ratio of CCCII

Hello friends i am working on TSMC 0.18um process and want to design second generation current controlled current conveyor (CCCII). My question is that, what should be the expected gm/Id ratio of different transistor of CCCII(image is attached). pls reply...
