After laying out a 12-layer pcb using free track obstacles to make connections to pads, the post processor in Orcad Layout 9.0 is not getting a specific aperture on one of the layers. The other layers are OK. It is messing up my gerber files. How can I correct this?
I am using Orcad Layout 9.0 and am having difficulty generating inner layer gerber files. The board is 12 layers and I am using free track obstacles to form a coil. I run the post processor and the gerber inner layers do not show the obstacles. What can I be doing wrong?
I am using Orcad Capture 9.0 and am having a problem adding parts libraries (.olb) to a design. I keep getting the message that it is unable to load the file and object not found (DSM0008 & DBO3218). The libraries are present in the directory that is indicated.
Re: Orcad Layout 9.0 dxf file
In Layout 9.0, there is no MAX file option. Can I construct a board as a "pie-cut"? That is, rather than have a full circle, use an arc with end points.
I am trying to use a dxf file as a board outline using Layout 9.0. I imported the dxf file into VCADD and translated it into a max file. Is there any way to merge an existing pcb layout with components using this board outline?
