minimum metal density layer
Hi,
No that is false, having density above maximum is not good at all, it is even worse than having it less than min.
You really need to stick at the min/max bounds.
If you have too much metal, than the dielectric between metal tracks is most likely to get missed...
skill spectre
Dear All,
I have been using this forum for not very long and I have noticed many questions about Skill, Ocean, Spectre ... Well Cadence Tools in General and other EDA tools like Calibre as well.
I'd like to share few comments with you guys.
I. Cadence documentation.
I have seen...
Re: Diffusion Density
Omsi,
Too much diffusion is most likely to prevent the lithography/etching of the trench isolation patterns, especially in the nano technologies. A high density of diffusion would lead in a low density of the isolation dielectric. density is very important for the...
Re: Error using spectre
Hi,
This error occurs most likely because your spectre model file contains many sections. You need to tell to spectre which section it has to include.
I guess your netlist contains :
include "<YOUR_MODEL_PATH>/spectreModelFile.scs"
but it should be like
include...
configuration of lfvhdcomp
Hi
1. leapFrog is a VHDL simulator
2. In your newly installed IC stream (....../cadence/ic5033/), you should see a directory 'tools.lnx86'. What you need to make the configuration running is to create a 'tools' soft link to your 'tools.lnx86'. You can do this from a...
