I would like to know function of boundary cells

I assume you are talking about JTAG BoundaryScan? The Boundary scan cells are "electronic testpins", which are built into several µC and other ICs, similar to testpoints on traces. They allow to test connections, e.g. from inside BGA IC via ball and trace to ext. testpoints.

Please help me to understand the transistor circuit

Q1 indeed looks useless for me. Sure this is a PNP? Where did you get this circuit?

Increase output voltage of a clk buffer

Please don't mix PropagationDelay, Jitter and Skew. Maybe you can describe a litte bit more about the application, and especially about the IGBT driver and the IGBT used. I still didn't get the need for the buffer. Or do you plan to drive multiple IGBTs, and have to increase fanout?

    Interfacing w25m512 with micrcontroller

Sth with your routines looks fishy. For example, where is the "WriteEnable()" function? If write was not enabled, it's normal that you will readback 0xFF, as written data is not flashed internally. Please recheck your code, and also the register adresses & commands against the device spec

    What is this solder tool?

Antenna for cosmic energy  Serious: This is a cheap prying tool for IC/components extraction

Why this kind of power planes/copper pour in PCB design

Both solutions seen in the OP picture, solder mesh on trace and Silkscreen cover, are cheap and weak solutions for technical problems. Often seen in cheap powersupplies, to save money. And sometimes implementation is even done wrong. Solder mesh: Weak workaround for using thicker copper...

Why this kind of power planes/copper pour in PCB design

These ribs/bumps on the power planes are usually done to increase: - conductivity of copperplane (less powerdissipation, solder is cheaper than choosing higher Cu layer thickness) - thermal capacitance & surface of copperplane (better cooling of components) For me, the "white layer" looks like...

Settings-Subscriptions: All threads marked as Closed

Thanks for your replies. It seems (up to now) it's only me who has this issue. So it must be sth. related to my profile... maybe too old account, which missed some adoptions. Seems there is an account based script, which generates the view.

No, this gets worse... Here a quick sketch (also don't have a proper schematic tool available ;-)

    [PIC] Interfacing AD7490 with PIC16F1789

Hmmm, not familiar with code syntax, but I think you try to make single conversions of Vin10. checkout the sequence described in datasheet, the conversion output is interleaved, so you need one dummy write in front: void main() { // Setup TRISC2 = 0; RC2 = 1; delay_us(5); // Dummy...

Please help to identify capacitor marking TV 2 0318 (attached pic)

For me, this looks like some Manufacturer (?) & Datecode marking. Sure that there is no more marking on the component? Maybe desolder & recheck.

    Simple 120VAC to 12VDC Project

Hint: With D2, rectifier will only use pos. Half of AC voltage. You may use full AC sinus by bridge rectifier (will reduce output ripple/C1 may be smaller) Bug: R1 & D1 should be placed (in series) parallel to C1 (instead of the vertical connection). Other than this, circuit as DC power supply...

Settings-Subscriptions: All threads marked as Closed

I observed a strange cosmetic issue: Under Settings-Subscriptions, all threads are marked as Closed, although they are not. Re-Login and clearing of cookies did not change behaviour. Is this a bug in Forum SW?
