I'm used to microwave office that allows users to add equations to the workspace, can we do the same in genesys?
I am designing a matching circuit and would like to create some variables to set an overall length of the matching circuit as a fixed value. This could be accomplished by setting a...

Here's an online calculator i found in 2 seconds by searching "frequency scale antenna". The operation you are trying to perform is called frequency scaling. Antennas length is a function of the frequency. double the frequency then antenna is half as big...
This is a standard report in HFSS. in project manager window, right click results->create modal solution data report -> rectangle plot. category group delay primary sweep frequency. done
You can import .s2p as solutions but not as models as far as I know in HFSS. In Designer you can import n-port model and browse to the s parameter file to import. then you can connect it in a circuit just like any other circuit component.
the metal via is a solid metal cylinder. enable the material override checkbox if you are getting errors. metal will override a dielectric if they are both in the same space.
If you are just looking for the simulation time you can right click 'setup' in the project manager and select 'view Profile'. log file is in project_folder\project_name.hfssresults\design_name.results\weird_filename.profile
A capacitor stores charge but it takes time for the current to build up charge on the plates. At low frequencies there is enough time for the charge to build up and impede the flow of current as the voltage on the capacitor approaches the charging voltage. At higher frequencies the charging...
You can do the simple math conversion yourself with circumference = 2*pi*r that would be your board width. Then use the create box and create rectangle functions in HFSS to draw the equivalent layout.
Draw cross section in 2-D with primitives and boolean operations and then use thicken sheet or sweep surface to create geometry, the gap is going to be tricky probably have to do a polyline and then sweep it. Can't tell what gap size is from picture, or size of anything else for that matter...
