I used two VCD files from a design to run PTPX to generate power reports.
One VCD file was obtained using netlist simulation without SDF annotation while the other one was with SDF.
PTPX was run in both averaged and time_based modes.
The reports were showing that the total internal power...
Hi, I have generated a few power reports from Synopsys PTPX using a netlist simulation vcd file.
I would like to get more information of how each figure in the reports being obtained.
Please share your ideas and suggestions. Thanks.
It is linked to the .synopsys_dc.setup file under Synopsys installatation directory, but it is a read only file.
Is there any way that i can edit it?
