My drive is not being recognized by my PC. I want to check if my ribbon cable is working correctly or not. Can anybody please tell me how can I check it using a multimeter? Should each pin should appear shorted on the multimeter e.g. pin 1 shorted to pin 1,pin 2 shorted to pin 2 and so on.
There is nothing written in the manuals and we just use these products. The items were bought around two to three years ago and there is no contact with the company since then.
I work in a company which deals with electronic digital voice recording systems. They always emphasize that proper earthing should be maintained and the warranty is void if the equipment is operated unearthed.
I don't get it. We operate computers in our home without having a separate earth...
I have a ciruit diagram of an AM RECEIVER (118Mhz-136Mhz) in which the IC CA3075(FM IF AMPLIFIER LIMITER) and CA3012(FM IF WIDEBAND AMPLIFIER) are being used. I dont get it why are FM ICs being used in an AM receiver. Please help.
YEP I would like to demodulate the signal
Thankyou everyone first of all I would like to start with the tuning circuit, I just want to use variable inductors and fixed capacitors for that purpose. Is there any free software available that will allow me to design a filter in the 195kHz to 400kHz...
I want to design a receiver that receives a morse code signal in the 195Khz to 400kHz band. Is it possible using components easily available in the market?
Hi I have got a power supply in which the IC M51995AFP is damaged. I went to the market looking for the IC but it isn't available, can anyone tell if I can replace it with another IC? If yes, which IC can function as a substitute for this one?
Can we use fire optic cable for connecting antennas to communication equipment? Why do we use only coaxial cable for connecting an antenna to a transceiver and fibre optic is used only in data communication?
I am troubleshooting a device and I think this transistor is faulty. Can anyone tell me how to confirm if this is really faulty or not? I have attached the datasheet. Should I get the voltages mentioned in "test conditions" of this datasheet if I check it with a multimeter?
AM modulation is being used and there isnt a AGC circuit present as it is written in the manual:
"Since this receiver does not use an AGC circuit, the RF gain control must be adjusted to place the detector output level at a point of the detector characteristics that is linear."
