for periodicity of metamaterial i use periodic boundary condition in both x and y direction and open add space in the z direction . you can select in floquet port mode list to pick LCP and RCP. but still what i got in the s parameter folder is s11 and s21 which from the result i guess is not LCP...

can anyone help me by giving some tutorial video on metamaterial design on CST MWS? there are some option of using unit cell boudary, peridic boundary or PEC and PMC boundary . ican not decide which one i should use. also the transient solver do not support the peridic boundary.

can anyone say which numerical software would be best for the simulation of nonlinear optics.i like to look into the nonlinear properties of photonic crystal and metamaterial. Fullwave do not give good result as it become unstable after few calculation.

no there is no tutorial about to find efficiency of non linear generation. do you use COMSOL. i have just started to learn it. do you have basic model of metamaterial in COMSOL?
