telescopic with folded cascoded gain boosted

gain boosted problem I am not sure if the 2pf & 1.5pf capacitors should be present at the outputs of the gain boosting amplifiers. And also since the gain bandwidth product is constant you need to decrease the gain(Rout) to increase the bandwidth.

telescopic with folded cascoded gain boosted

gain boosted problem Hi houda09, The problem I think is that M3,M4,M5,M6 of the main telescopic opamp are diode connected. Inorder to get the gain boosting the gates of these should be connected to the output of the gain boosting amplifiers.

Gain Saturation of CMOS Common Source Amplifier

@ Braski Can you please elaborate or direct me to some material on the topic. Thanks

Gain Saturation in Common Source Amplifier

But how does the o/p resistance depend upon the W/L of the Mosfet. It should depend on LAMBDA and Id I suppose. Or is this a general first order approximation ? And how did you plot the output resistance. I tried plotting VDS/Id but I am getting a different plot.

Gain Saturation in Common Source Amplifier

I am holding the drain current constant by varying both gate voltage and W/L of M1. And below 0.45 gate voltage(Vth = 0.3662743) the gain changes by very small amount(I checked it once again by flipping the device the gain is not constant. Sorry) At VGS = 0.4 , W = 130u L =.36u, gain = 68.336...

Gain Saturation of CMOS Common Source Amplifier

Thanks for replying. I am keeping the current constant so that Rout remains constant there by the output pole remains constant. And to see the maximum gain I can get with that Rout I am trying to increase the gm by changing Vov and W/L of M1. Is there a way to plot the gm for a constant...

Gain Saturation in Common Source Amplifier

@aryajur Thanks for replying. Kindly correct me if I am wrong. To enter into subthreshold region the Vgs of the MOS should be less then threshold voltage but as I said the gain became constant below 150mV overdrive. So the MOS should not have entered subthreshold region. I am using "Micro...

Gain Saturation in Common Source Amplifier

Hi, I was designing a CMOS common source amplifier using tsmc018(level = 49) model MOS. I was trying to increase the DC gain by reducing the overdrive of M1 and correspondingly increasing its W/L of M1 keeping the current constant at 20u. W/L of M2 was constant throughout. But the gain...

Analog VLSI design training/courses in India

Hi All, I am a fresher(2009 passout). I want to have a career in Analog design. I have googled for training centers in India but could not find any. So, can you tell me if there are any training centers in India which offer high standard training in Analog design. Thanks for the help.
