    L7805CV giving 5.4Volts

I am using L7805CV from STmicroelectronics purchased from local market. I have been using this regulator for a very long time. I always check the voltage and it is always around 4.92 to 4.97. But this time the regulator is giving 5.4V. I am attaching my circuit diagram. Any help would save my...

    433MHz OOK Rx and Tx

Hello ALL, I want to design a remote control which read two buttons from remote and run 2 TTL logic on receiver. The range of operation is very short. But I am restricted to use on 433MHz band. The best method I find to use OOK with 433MHz transmitter and a Schmidt trigger at the receiver...

How to tell KiCad to generate netlist in spice format

Hello Brian, Thank for reply. I am using Linux 4.13 version. I have tried all the options available in the spice tab of netlist generator. Nothing is happening. I have also put the simulator name there but still didn't and clicked the run simulator but the simulator is somehow is not running...

How to tell KiCad to generate netlist in spice format

I am new to eeschema and I want to generate netlist which is recognized by ngspice. When I generate netlist from KiCad, kicad is always shows net number starting from 1. But ngspice needs a net 0 to simulate. I have tried to add zero from SPICE library but it is the same. KiCad I am using is...

How to differential between different USB camera connected at same UVC

Hello all, I have different kinds of USB camera connected on same PC. All are connected to UVC (USB video class). When I want to access the cameras they are coming as different index number in the system. But is there anyway how to determine which camera is which one. So that an application can...

[SOLVED] After stopping the Timers, the ports are at random position although they are forced

Thanks FvM, The processor is atmega328p microcontroller. There is a problem with the "stop" method of "pwm" class. In the stop method only clock source has been disconnected from PWM but the ports are not reconnect to GPIO. I have changed the code and now it's working fine. Thanks again

Booster circuit to square wave peak to peak voltage

Hello Pradeep, Can you please tell us, why are you increasing the voltage of a square wave? Because there are several thing which we must keep in mind for designing an amplifier. How much power do you want from the amplified signal? And also you can't use N-MOSFET to amplify the voltage as you...

[SOLVED] After stopping the Timers, the ports are at random position although they are forced

Hello, I am using timer 0 and timer 1 for pwm waveform generation. Until the pwm is running all is well and good. But when I stop the pwm, the ports associated with pwm are land on some random position either low or high. I have given the code to low the ports but still the ports are at random...

Buck conver using PMOS gate driving problem

Why you are using the old buck converter design by using expensive and bulky inductor. Unless you don't want much power from the buck converter and you have the arduino why not use the inductor less design with feedback for your constant 12Volts output. Please specify the output power and input...

    LED through PID question

It seems you are using PWM for dimming the heating element. If the element is on AC and you put an LED parallel with the Heating element, you must have to very careful. Because LED will glow fairly at 20mA with forward voltage of 1.28Volts (most LED), at 240V rms you will have to use 16936 Ohm...

    Chip is getting warmer

Try increasing the output impedance which will lower the current and OP-AMP will not heat up. If the OP-AMP in any circuit is heating, the circuit or PCB or both have problem. Always try to match the impedance from output. The best way to match impedance is use voltage follower or buffer circuit...

LM3940 3.3V Linear Voltage Regulator Gives 3.96V at 5V Supply.

Till now I relay on the ESR data given by the manufacturer for the Capacitor. Can you please tell me how to measure the ESR value for a capacitor. Everything else is just better than good in the design. I have tried various kinds of capacitors with different values but the output is always the...

p channel mosfet for light dimming

Try this method to drive the p-MOS. Better to use a feedback system for dimming by using ADC. - - - Updated - - - The best way to make a constant current or voltage dimmer is use a LPF to change the PWM into a voltage level than feed into upper circuit at PWM_IN. Use current sense resister for...

LM3940 3.3V Linear Voltage Regulator Gives 3.96V at 5V Supply.

I have checked all of these but still it is giving 3.96V in the output, when input volt is 4.95V.
