    Re: Solar Panels I think that cheapest way would be actually buy one of these lamps and take solar panel out...other choice depends on where you live - in Europe Conrad may have it...

    I say you go with XP, or at least double boot vista/xp, but Vista is definitely gonna run slower, especially with 1G of RAM, also on notebooks CPU's are generally slower than on PC's.

    harddisk noise Not sure what you mean---if HDD has such noise and still works, then backup immediately. If it's gone, ---well, it's gone, sorry...

    Correct. Celeron has less cache memory, and from my experience is quite slower. Not worthed if you ask me...
