As my understanding, EMI(Electromagnetic Interference) is generally improved by optimizing board layout.
Are there any ways or suggestions to improve it through IC layout optimization as well to let IC itself less susceptible to EMI?

In SATA chip, which is 1USB to 2SATA in 0.18um process, I found each TX/RX differential pairs has its own independent power supply 1.8V Vcc. But why there has another single 3.3V power supply for SATA(and just only one for both SATA devices.)?
