Re: BLDC Motor
Hi,
Current for BLDC motor depends upon the load and wattage of motor.
What is your application and wattage of Motor.
For 250W to 350W motor withhout load normal current will be 3A.

Hi,
If there is Chinese Manufacturer, then do not provide any datasheet or detail about Motor.
Even you purchase the motor from them they will not tell you any thing about motor.
It is my experience.

Hello Sir,
Thanks for your reply.
We are try to test current limiting for BLDC motor for cascaded loop with speed PID.
Actually we are testing for limit the current for 1A or 2A.
But Motor speed control is not able to regulate by accelerometer and it is automatically Increasing or decreasing...
Hello All,
I have one query about BLDC Motor.
For 350 Watt motor current drawn by motor is 2 to 3A withot load.
If we limit the current at 1A, then what is effect on Motor run ?
Is Motor run properly ?
Or is it try to reach upto it normal current ?

Re: PID control for BLDC
Hello
We are using IR2110.
I think there is no problem with driver, because there is no speed disturbance at lower speed.
Only jerks come at load and lower speed.
We also try with giving 20% duty cycle but there is no change.
Re: PID control for BLDC
Hello,
This type jerks appears only when motor is at rest and starts from rest.
When motor having some speed and starting motor by throttle or potentiometer then there is no jerk experienced.
Also When we try with quick start means we are rotating the throttle quickly...
Re: PID control for BLDC
Thanks,
We are using Hall Sensor based BLDC controller.
With Hall sensors interrupts we are measuring the current speed of motor .

Hello All,
We are trying to implement PID control loop for BLDC motor.
But during it starts with one or two small jerk. It is not able to start smoothly.
With open loop it starts smoothly, but with PID gives jerky starts.
Please suggest me possible reason for it.

Hello All,
I observed that almost 5 to 10 us glitches appeared at uC o/p.
Is it possible that this glitch will damage the MOSFETs when at same time PWM is on at Higher side of uC.
We are operating the H-bridge for Controlling BLDC Motor.
What will be solution foe reducing the glitches ...
Hello,
We are driving BLDC motor but when we try to stop and start repeatedly then MODFET blows. Normally it is able to run on load only problem comes when we try to run-stop repetedly.
Please help how can we handle this using Firmware change or through hardware ?
Please give some...
Hello all,
We are controlling the 350 watt BLDC motor using IR2110.
We observed that after running the Motor at consatnt load current for 5 to 10 minutes.
Load current increases gradually and some time it damage the components.
Is it problem of Heat transfer of mosfets or some thing else ...
PWM Frequency
Hello,
What should be the Maximum operating PWM frequency for controlling the BLDC motor.
IS it any factor for choosing the PWM frequency?
As we tested it with, 16, 20 40 and 50 Khz. It work better at higher speed.
Please reply.

mosfets to use with ir2110
Hello Sir,
I observed that Some offset voltage is coming on VS pin of IR2110.
After manually discharging of Vs pin by shorting the 15V Vcc and Gnd . This offset voltage disappeared and again appeared after 2-3 minutes.
We have tested that after discharging the Vs...
ir2110 pins describe
Hello all,
As we have disussed in this forum till now.Every thing is fine but, Now I am facing new problem.
When I am giving the 15V power supply to the Vb pin of IR2110 then, I am getting approx 10 V to the Vs pin.
I think Vs pin must be ground.
When we connect one...
teste bootstrap ir2010
Thanks Tahmid
If we use the Inductor in series of Power Supply, Is it not create any problem or effect on performance When Motor is at running stage?
One question I ask, Please tell me Is this circuit work properly on General Purpose Board.
