Hi I am using PIC14FJ64Gb002 and i am trying to communicate with my PC using hyperterminal.
I send a character from PC to the receive Pin with 8 bit data no parity 1 stop bit but the problem is the microcontroller doesn't take all the 8 bits. sometimes 3 sometimes 2 sometimes 5bits and so on...
Here is the schematic.... The ones with Red crosses on them I cannot use them for Keypad..... Port B pin Rb5 is not remappable pin so cant be used for motor but can be used as I/O pin....

I want to interface my Keypad with the PIC24F microcontroller (PIC24FJ64GB002) with PIC PCWHD compiler. I have my lcd hooked up already and its working fine but now i cant seem to get the keypad working.
