I agree but i left my friend into MSDN Ocean. Page shows VB language not supported with game pad but when you search MSDN for "Gamepad with VB" you will get number of threads.

I think you are talking about Power Line Communication (PLC) used in Building-Home Automation systems (BACnet).
Search in EDAboard for DC-Bus or PLC.
