it is quite simple:
you have the at command and with an old erricson a1018 for example you send the AT commands that simulates the pressing of a key. i have done it you cand do it too. i put a program for AT89C2051 that sends a memorated message

you can try to go to vishay to look for the datasheet for the tfd4500 but this is an obsolete part. the suggested replacement is tfu4100. it is the same component in a smaller pachage. i uset with only a resistor and connected on the mother board and it works very fine...
