    You scored 0. All your points are wrong as i already explained above. - - - Updated - - - .................

    Transformer and alternator

It is a simulation, 3D computer generated animated simulation, to be precise. What else would alternating black/yellow squares be but alternating poles. Icecream maybe? "flux field is just like blades of magnetic flux", he clearly made reference to magnets being like blades of a fan...

    Transformer and alternator

You did not. You only made unclear references, you did not explain what you consider incorrect. If you are asking about polarity black and yellow squares are alternating poles. This is assumed.

    Transformer and alternator

You first elaborate what is incorrect in the video.

    Transformer and alternator

Video is NOT incorrect afterall. Video is right if we consider field first cuts the left side of the coil producing one polarity and as it crosses the center and starts to move away cuts another side of the coil producing opposite polarity. Just like shown in simulation of 3 phase axial...

    Transformer and alternator

Now that i looked into it better, we were right afterall and video is wrong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_m1mAY6WZ4 As for my comparison of alternator with same poles and tranformer fed pulsed dc, you are right, it is not the same. I knew this but confused it. Clearly as voltage on the...

    Transformer and alternator

It does show alternating current from the start. Look at the arrows representing the current flow. Unlike what you said and what i initially thought, polarity of the current flips as magnet starts to receed from the coil.

    Transformer and alternator

No, it is AC generator as it clearly states. South pole approaching produces the same voltage as north pole leaving and that is irrelevant in the context.

    Transformer and alternator

You start with disagreeing and then you back that up with false claim. I thought that was the case too until i saw the video below. What happens is the exact opposite. As magnetic pole approaches the coil voltage is induced in one direction - coil's field repelling the magnet, and as it starts...

How to correctly calculate coil's field strength?

WOW, you actually managed to input few simple values into a simple formula i did not to happen to come accross, simpleton chimp. Let's see what's the actual resonance. If we take 10mH as actual inductance, resistance 1.1Ohm and assume capacitance to be small due to round wire, let's say 100nF...

How to correctly calculate coil's field strength?

Inductance for 1 layer of this coil is 50uH, for 17 layers it is ~850uH or 0.85mH. For calculation i used this website kaizerpowerelectronics.dk/calculators/spiral-coil-calculator/ What are you on about God only knows. 16Hz?? Resonant frequency for this coil is expected to be in range of...

How to correctly calculate coil's field strength?

LOL inductance of this coil is nowhere near 8.67mH. Reactance being 0 at resonant frequency is anything but "irrelevant".

How to correctly calculate coil's field strength?

Seems you don't understand the meaning of reactance. Which 10mH are you talking about, where did you pull that from. If driven at resonant frequency, coil's capacitive and inductive reactance cancel out, it behaves as if driven by DC. XL= 2πfL XC= -1/2πfC Z = sqrt(R² + (Xc - Xl)²) F =...

How to correctly calculate coil's field strength?

Which part of no reactance you don't understand. At resonant frequency, only ohmic losses matter, no inductive or capacitive reactance.

How to correctly calculate coil's field strength?

You're most welcome. Yes, i noted it is "only" 150 watt RMS. As for power dissipation in speaker coils, it is an interesting question, if you ask it at yahoo answers like i did you will get a bunch of conflicting answers. The one i chose as best said 75% of energy is due to ohmic losses and...
