[PIC] Issue in driving MOSFET for Dual supply

    1. COM has to be connected to Q2 emitter. If COM is -17volt (consider VSS=+17 and COM is -17 volt)or we can consider this as equivalent to single-ended supply 34 --0 volts?. 2.The IC allows only a limited voltage shift between Vss and COM. Yes , VSS= 34 and COM =0 but as (+17 to -17)...

[PIC] Issue in driving MOSFET for Dual supply

What's your expected switching frequency? Around 20khz to 50khz What's your expected duty cycle range? 0% to 80% max

[PIC] Issue in driving MOSFET for Dual supply

Hello, PFA for the design using FAN-7392 to drive dual supply power with the dual load(battery) connected in series (+.........-+..........- ). The microcontroller is PIC16F877A with separate Two PWM driving positive side and negative side MOSFET independently. MCUs ground is -17 volt, not 0...

    Ferrite Transformer design calculation

I am planning to design a DC-DC converter in push-pull config and as you all know Transformer formula as Vs/Vp=Ns/Np For example 3/4 =6/8=12/16 .... How we can take which ratio is best? Vp=12 volts DC Chopping at 20khz in push pull config Vs=310 volt DC after rectification. As per...

    Ferrite core inverter

which is this tool used for simulation ? and if the load is inductive will it have any impact on LC filter?

    Ferrite core inverter

Is this type of low pass filter will have any impact on % of inductor / resistor load connected ? if yes how it can be taken care I think to give optically isolated feed-back from 230 VAC is to controller for Duty cycle modification. This can stabilize the output. Any further suggestion

[General] Need to measure 0 to 100 amps DC using MCU

hi all, ACS770 is not available in my local market , ACS712 is available but it can measure upto 30 Amps only, now only option is to go head with type INA202 but its SMD , is there any similar available in DIP package or there is any chance this could be done with LM358 or any other better one ?

[General] Need to measure 0 to 100 amps DC using MCU

Many are not suitable to handle surge currents ,and mostly i would like to prefer Hall effect sensors as its needs a little calibration and not effected by environmental factors,But most of sensors are not available in my market.

[General] Need to measure 0 to 100 amps DC using MCU

hi I need to measure safely 0-100 amps DC which is easily available , for inverter project using micro controller ADC with-in the scales 0-5 volt dc. some surge more than 100 amps is expected that time controller needs to be in safe ADC voltage . I am not much familiar with op-amps

    Ferrite core inverter

hi bradtheRad, yes the same i need to use , but i can use only high frequency transformer (Ferrite /Toroidal) . so need to drive H-bridge with modulated SPWM at 20 khz and my question is how to get 50 /60 Hz from output ?, Is there any filtering mechanism without creating much load .

    Ferrite core inverter

hi FVM , let me make very clear to you , i need conversion from DC to AC. It is not possible to convert 320 DC to 230 AC by using rectifier we need inverter mechanism for that. one common method is use H-bridge drive driven by 50 hz and connect bulky iron core transformer and just convert...

    Ferrite core inverter

hi friends , Like this can we convert 320 dc to 230 ac 50 hz by not using bulky iron core transformer ? my plan is to use ferrite core or toroidal transformer . Ferrite core is for high frequency use only ?,From where i can get data which type of core can use for 50hz , I have EE-50 core can i...
