The Mc33182 was (unfortunalely) one of the "best in its class" opamp for speed,low power consumption ,offset and many other interesting secondary carachteristic.
At now no direct replacement but only compromize.
One other alternative is the LF412 also available in SMD package...
If you want to brake the AC motor you need to inject a DC current into stator.
This is as you fix a vecto in oune position and force the motor to follow this vector.
The induced current on the rotor perform resistive losses on it then take in account that before another braking action you need...
