    5volts to 12volts using MCP604

Hi, op amps will never give an output voltage greater than its supply voltage. Better to go for some other opamps. Narendra kumar

    Zero crossing detector

Usually heater resistence have a lot of inertia, it's common to drive them in "burst" mode. Whith a zero-cossing triac you let the current flow for n-periods of line voltage (a burst of sinusoidal wave). No needs to syncronize your micro with zero crossing. for more details ...

    shield connections...?

Dear all I have used shielded twisted pair cables and coaxial cables in my system for (analog as well as digital) signal transmission. Whether there is any convention in connecting the shields of analog and digital signals to chassis and ground.. please clarify .. analog signals in my system...

Any trick if we connect 2 inductors in series for larger L?

Re: Any trick if we connect 2 inductors in series for larger yes you can achieve the desired inductance . The net inductance will be the sum of two as like that of the resistors. But the draw back is the stray resistance of the inductors will also add up. This will degrade the performance of...

Suggest me a powerful PIC C compiler

ccs picc compiler yes hitech c compiler is helpful tool. The HI-TECH PICC-Lite compiler is a freeware version of HI-TECH PICC compiler available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. The HI-TECH PICC-Lite compiler is the same in every respect as the full HI-TECH PICC compiler, except that it has...

    Microcontroller or Microprocessor??!!!

Microcontroller has a microprocessor inside it. Generally microcontrollers are used for small applications and where the programming memory space availability is low. I think at the student level micrcontroller will do a lot because of its simple hardware structure with many features. Also I...

Connectiong two boards operating at different voltages

U have connected a 3.3V digital logic compatible device directly to a 5V digital logic which should be always avoided for safety . Check the maximum current delivering capacity of microcontroller board (at the output ports). It should be a minimum of 10µA(max i/p current of DAC) for better...

Re: right half pole there are ways to make your system as stable... It will be helpful if u provide the transfer function of the system (with or with out feedback ?)..
