Hi all
I want to design a on chip transformer with center tap to for PA input and output match and center tap used for bias supply .
But the ADS mom designed transformer (SP_black block)used for bias supply in cadence simulation ,My main power amplifier device was not operating in...
Hi rizoeda
I have done as you said ,but there appears a warning that the gnd boundary and perfe1 boundary overlap ,can I ignore that warning?

Hi PlanarMetamaterials
this is the match network I want simulate in HFSS ,as you can see ,this match net work is consist of two Microstrip lines ,and the right one is one end connected GND , when I simulated the network on 3D HFSS simulator how can I do this...
I want to design a transmission line for my power amplifier match network.
Firstly I draw a path in virtuoso ,then I export the GDS file to HFSS, but I need one end terminal of the MT line connected to GND . how can I do this in HFSS .PLZ tell me ,thanks a lot
Thank you very much.
You mean extract data from ADS passive structure simulation then used these data file in Cadence ?
What kind of data I should extract(s parameter? or ....) ?How to extract this kind of data ?
please as detail as possible.
Cadence, I mean software Cadence we used for IC design ,ADS ( keysight ) is a design tool for RFIC design . So Cadence and ADS are design tools here. The models are used for simulation in both tool are different ,So I was wondering maybe I could transform them
hi guys I want to design a 60GHz PA using cmos technology 013.018 TSMC or whatever ...the thing is I do not have ADS PDK but I have cadence PDK,the design flow would be ?please as detail as possible, thanks very much
