hi all
How do you measure the voltage and current of the parts circled in blue as in the following picture?
I've seen other people's simulation results in the past, and I've seen them simulate the voltage and current waveforms of sinwave by holding the coil's line, but I don't know how to do it.
Let me ask you a question.
Do you think if you put one port on this conductor and the other side on the regular conductor, the result will be the same?
Ah, because the current flows through the boundary condition, is it calculated by the length that it contains?
The boundary conditions are as follows:
How do I deal with this?

single wire is Inductance .
and coaxial is Port.
The end co-axial is the port to give the...
Theoretical value, actual measurement, simulation value of inductance
I'd like to compare three in total.
The theoretical values and actual measurements are similar, but only the cst simulation values are different
and I don't know what went wrong.
diameter of inductor is 3.47mm length is...
i will design series circuit with resist.
each of 10 resist consist of series circuit.
i know power sum of parallel circuit
but what is the allowable power of each of resist.
and i don't know mathmatic formula
i appreciate opinion of your.
i make 2 port.
first, primary port is 1 port and open port ,also secondary port is 1 port and open port.
secondary inductor is calculate result of Z22
L= image Z2,2 / 2 * pi * f right??
i wonder if how to maesure L value of Secondary inductor.
i thought edge of Primary & secondary inductor make port.
each of Primary edge is port 1, port 2
each of secondary edge is port 3, port 4
there is 4 port then
L=l imaginary 1,1 l / 2*pi*f i thought can calculate L value.
this...
i wonder if length of wilkinson divider.
each of stripline length is same?
ex) 40Mhz frequency,c=λf thus λ/4=1875 mm
wilkinson have One Input port and 2 Output port.
then each of 2 output stripline is 1875mm, right?
let see the Photo
i designed 1/4 wilkinson 2 way Combiner(40~60mhz).
circuit concept is
and i used macro of 50ohm line.
and did make combiner in cst
to this situation,
calculate 25ohm port(IN) & 50hom port(OUT) is this right?
if this is wrong, How to make port?
Re: problem is real masured & simulation different in CST
Thank you for responding to my article.
i understood input impedance & characteristic impedance.
N.A result is input impedance and simulation result is Zo(characteristic impedance).
1.then, what is the reference impedance in cst. only...
