    Sim300 voltage levels

sim300 vdd_ext Exact, this means that the any digital pin tolerate 3.3V without damage it, but the maximal voltage that it understand as "High Level" is 3.23, which is 0.07V less than 3.3V High Level output of the PIC.

    Sim300 voltage levels

max voltage levels Thanks, it's better for me...but why the datasheet specifies thar the max and min Logic levels of serial ports pins? 3.3V is above the input max high level. I've just connected the pins directly, when I put the PIC pin to high, it reaches only 700mV.

    Sim300 voltage levels

sim300 pic Hi All, I'm interfacing the Sim300 with a PIC Microcontroller. The PIC works with 3,3V High Output Level and the Sim300 works with 2,051V to 3,23V as High Input voltage. Acording to the Sim300 Datasheet: (Logic high input Min: 0.7 *VDD_EXT = 2,051V) (Logic high input Max: VDD_EXT...

How to supply power to SIM300 without using battery?

sim300 to php Thanks for the answer! Then what 4V voltage regulator you can suggest? what is widely used for for hw designers, like LP2981 form National, for example. Even though it draws in excess 100mA, one can use a current driver.

How to supply power to SIM300 without using battery?

Hi all, Which is the best way to supply the 4V/2A voltage/current to the sim300 module, if you don't want to use a battery. One can use a voltage regulator like LM317 or a cheap solution like a zener diode between the main voltage and the module VBAT pin. Im my oppinion, the LM317 does not...

Serial Port Multiplexing - Which is the better way ?

74244 multiplexer or maybe i can disable the 485 driver when communicating with de gprs module and use the hardware flow control pins (cts/rts) of the gprs module to disable it when communicating with the 485 network. I don't know if it works yet...

Serial Port Multiplexing - Which is the better way ?

serial multiplexer Hi all, Which is the better way to multiplex the microcontoller serial port. I'm using a PIC with only one serial interface and have to use it to communicate on a 485 network and with a GPRS module. Thanks in advance.

Module Specification - information about the SIM340Z

sim340d Hi all, I'm working on a project and i'm about to buy some gprs modules from Simcom. I got some price quotation and also have found a development board that uses the following module: SIM340Z But, at the Simcom website i have found specifications about: SIM340 SIM340C SIM340D...
