dc/ac inverter with SG3525 with pure sine wave output

@babatundeawe Thank for the link. Its very helpful. I shall make my own calculations and check it with this site. - - - Updated - - - The PushPull on the site from the link has only one primary coil. My design is one with a centre tap. Can this be used with the same applet? Or should i change...

dc/ac inverter with SG3525 with pure sine wave output

I hope you can find the link for the java applet. I found one which is called poweresim like I mentioned earlier. Is that it?

dc/ac inverter with SG3525 with pure sine wave output

@babatundeawe As you see in the schematics the sg3525 is selfadjusting. I think the core is collapsing like you said in a previous post. Do you have hf-transformer design software? Like the online poweresim?

dc/ac inverter with SG3525 with pure sine wave output

The left side of the Hbridge is fed from a micro with 50hz. The right side of the bridge is fed with 28k8kHz PWM. 50Hz is used for timing, pwm for building the sine-wave. With the right two pole filter a true sine is created. thats working fine. Can anyone help me with some hftransformer...

dc/ac inverter with SG3525 with pure sine wave output

I have made the design like below. The output of the H-Bridge is working fine. I only have to design the filter to filterout the hf components. The problem is in the push-pull of the design. making 325V out of 14V4. Its working fine with the core i have got but it goes very slow to 325V and...

dc/ac inverter with SG3525 with pure sine wave output

Hi Tpetar, thanks for the pdfs. They are very helpfull. I will use parts of it. But I will let a microcontroller handel the pwm :). I will let you know how its going on.. thanks again.

dc/ac inverter with SG3525 with pure sine wave output

Hi tpetar, I am currently designing a inverter from 12-15Vdc to 230Vac aprox. 25va and later on 80va. I want to us a dc-dc boost converter to boost the input dc to 325Vdc. Then I want to use a microcontroller to make a PWM to make a sine @ 230vac 50Hz. Im going to boost the 12-15 via a...

    12-15Vdc to 230Vac Inverter

Mmmmmmmmmmm maybe a lightbulb was a poor example. :-( I will draw up some schematics and let the board take a look at it. I hope some good suggestions are made...

    12-15Vdc to 230Vac Inverter

@FvM: thx for correcting. I have been reading this thread.... thx for pointing it out. Im going to boost the 12-15 via a hf-transformer to 325V. I have contacts that can build them for me if I gave him the windings, amps, etc. Im thinking about aprox. 40kHz for the switching frequency. This...

    12-15Vdc to 230Vac Inverter

I know PI is for SMPS 85 to 230 Volt mains to low voltage dc. I know i build these in the past. The thread you mentioned is not found? Can you give the link again?

Does anyone has a schematic for reference lying around?:-D

    12-15Vdc to 230Vac Inverter

Hi Zasto, thanks for your quick reply. I know what you mean. I have build one for 25VA the way you mentioned. For 25VA it is already a big transformer!!!! And for 80Watts its gonna be a whopper  Im going for lightweight..... Do you have experience with a HF version?

    12-15Vdc to 230Vac Inverter

Hi everyone, I am currently designing a inverter from 12-15Vdc to 230Vac aprox. 80Watts. I want to us a dc-dc boost converter to boost the input dc to 325Vdc. Then I want to use a microcontroller to make a PWM to make a modified sine @ 230vac 50Hz. Can anyone give me a help on which boost...
