Difference between ADS simulation results and experimental results

since i am using a partial ground plane, I am simulating with 2 ports , one is the internal port and one is the reference ground port. In the manual of ADS, it states that there will be some difference in simulation results between using the internal port and single mode port, is it right for me...

Difference between ADS simulation results and experimental results

I have designed a 3 band antenna and it gives good results in the ADS S11 simulation. However, when the antenna is fabricated and measured, one of the band only gives -6dB, but in the simulation results, it gives -20dB. Are there any reasons about this problem so I can solve it ? Many thanks~

how does reduced ground plane works????

i dont know which papers should i use to explain the effect, are there any reference web sites for it? thx~

how does reduced ground plane works????

i am working on a wideband antenna , i have searched some papers and i found that reduce the size of the ground plane is useful to make a wideband. but how does it work? are there any theory to support the effect? thanks very much~

simulation warning message in ADS! PLS HELP!

i am using a partial ground plane for my antenna ( using layer cond2) should i place a port on layer cond2 to ground it? or only one port on layer cond for input is enough?

simulation warning message in ADS! PLS HELP!

I am designing a multi band antenna and i use ADS to simulate it, i have some warning message when it simulating the S-parameters: inaccuate (high frequency ) calibration; electrically large via using lumped model; higher order modes at the ports; grouped strip-slot ports; mesh density is too...

    50 ohm transmittion line calculation?

does the antenna design related to the impedance of feed line?

    50 ohm transmittion line calculation?

after i get the width, then i should adjust the length of the feed line until i get a good S11 results? sorry for so many questions, i am new to antenna design, thanks so much!

    50 ohm transmittion line calculation?

thats mean i can choose either one to input and get the results?

    50 ohm transmittion line calculation?

the linecalc only calculate the width of feed line at one operating frequency, doesnt it? however, my antenna is multiband, which frequency should i input ?will it work? many thanks~!

    50 ohm transmittion line calculation?

50 ohm feed line calculation? hello, i am working on a multiband antenna with subpatch, the main part of the anteena is finished but i dont know how to calculate the feed line dimension, and i just try the dimension one by one now, are there any efficient way that i can get the dimension? i am...

    multiband microstrip antenna

if the frequencies i want to cover is 2Ghz and 2.4-2.6GHz is it better to use a wideband antenna and which kind of design i should use? please help~

    multiband microstrip antenna

I am working on a project which the main focus is to design a microstrip antenna in multiband ( wifi, GPRS, bluetooth) as i am a beginner for antennas , what should i read or what should i do? i have check it in the internet, but seems there are many different kinds of antennas, such as...
