stc chip
Hi jamshaidkhan,
actually I was talking about an IC (ie a silicon chip) not of a STC protocol.
more like what programmer (hard/soft) shall I use to program it.
appreciating though your effort.

stc mcu
Hi fireplus,
as I have recently need to use some of those controllers, this is what I have so far:
the STC chips found listed on:
http://www.stcmcu.com and on

trouble is that those sites are written in Chinese only. (and the automatic translators are not that...
microsd initialization
Hello bishopd,
After CMD1 send a dummy byte out , say $FF, then check if the card is out of idle in the next spi bus interrogation.
Use somenting like this:
Repeat
Low SD_PIN_CS ; select card
CMD1
SPI $FF ; send a dummy...
Hi gauravsarode,
you can use PWM as well as they use in this module, **broken link removed** which is about similar with what you want to achieve. I have tested one and it sounds ok.
As for parralel output, you can try MAX5100 **broken link removed** .
Are you using some kind of file system...
sd card pic16f
Hello,
with the money spent on SRAM, you better upgrade to say 18F458 and use a 512 bytes buffer in the PIC Reserved_Ram Space - using indirect access (FSR2/POSTINC2). Will work ok.

@echo47
The device will have to operate 24/7 with switching times ~ 100us to 800us. That's why have written "quite fast" with respect to using hv relays. So unless I 'll find some relay switching at that speed (though I'll have to replace them often if do) I will use multiple hv transformers...
Greetings ,
Need some advice on multiplexing high voltages in the range of 2KV to 12KV ( with a small current like 10mA to 80mA).
What I mean : is there any electronic component capable of that (i.e. thyristors, transistors, special IC, etc) switching in the High Voltage side, without using...
m50530
Hi all,
Is there anyone that know how to store and use the custom characters on the M50530 type of LCD (4x40).
It has only 12 pins and uses 4 bit data transfer mode.
I have the datasheet but ... ?

Re: PIC'c instructions
well clayofjunk,
obviously u turn this topic to usseless asking such questions. Don't get me wrong.
Or at least read the MPASM help section of the MPLAB that u use.
as my humble advice to u please search and read before posting.

Re: PIC'c instructions
hi clay of junk,
yes u can do it also in assembler.
just try to search and read the plethora of docs on the net and hopefully you will get the point.
if unsuccessfull pm me and i will reply.
just try this in assembler...
psion ssd connector
Hi,
looking for some info about the SSD Flash connector of a PSION series 3a, or maybe the serial connector pinouts. Searching the net revealed that there was a hardware sdk for the psion 3a but just can't find the file.

Re: PIC'c instructions
just declare an array of 9 elements.
There will be auto reservation of each.
U can do a search for mpasm, array and will get many answers to that topic.
Beware, a variable can be changeable if it stays in the variable type declaration.
Good luck
PS: which programming...
t6963
HI Fragrance,
maybe we talk about different protons. Belive me, i was checking the manual on their demo download page and the proton from crownhll DOES NOT SUPPORT the T6963 controller, but KS0108.
Ampire using both controllers on their graphic lcd's.
