Problem of two Series SAW Filter.

Repeat last test with N type cable and achieve to 120dB attenuation. It is rg316 leak and when use N type with shielding cable it is corrected. thanks

Problem of two Series SAW Filter.

I was double check it and it didn't matter. At this test input power level (from signal generator) is -20dBm and use an attenuator in exactly SG output and with a cable connected to SAW1. So -40dBm achieve to SAW1 and SAW1 connected with thru SMA to SAW2 and SAW2 connected with cable to SA. The...

Problem of two Series SAW Filter.

How to test it to avoid leakage? Due to Stopband attenuation (about 60~70dB each one) and SA noisefloor level (about 130~140dB) limit and etc. I change the cable, put all screw, kept power on and disconnect DUT, even add an attenuator, But it didn't matter.

Problem of two Series SAW Filter.

17dBm comes from signal generator. SAW1:https://ibb.co/SPMVymJ SAW2:https://ibb.co/2qdP7HM Together: https://ibb.co/prX4r6p (Center frequency (95.38MHz) is in stop band region)

Problem of two Series SAW Filter.

Now I add a 20 dB attenuator between two SAWs. Picture: https://ibb.co/J2gYJKt

Problem of two Series SAW Filter.

input level 17dBm, and after insertion loss is about 0dBm. SA picture: https://ibb.co/ZJ8Fvcz ok, got it. Each of them is a module with case and connected with male thru SMA. - - - Updated - - - - - - Updated - - - In first I thought it was leakage, so I put distance between them about 1...

Problem of two Series SAW Filter.

The noise floor of SA is about -136dBm. At the time of testing ( Res BW , Span , ...) is about -110dBm.(SA Model: N9918A) I don't understand (2).

Problem of two Series SAW Filter.

In real. I test Each one separately. Give a single tone signal in stop band frequency of saw and measure attenuation with spectrum analyzer.

Problem of two Series SAW Filter.

Hi When I series two SAW filter, why the attenuation less than sum both of them in stop band region. Each of them (in stop band) have 60dB attenuation but when series them, the attenuation is equal to 85dB. What happening? Why didn't reach to 120dB? Then, I put a 20dB attenuation between...

    Can use two SAW filter?

Hi, Can use two SAW filter in my receiver design? In IF section? How much attenuation when i use 2 SAW? Is it good? Do you have any idea? thanks

    Place TX/RX Antenna?

1- I can't take a picture. The antenna (RX and TX) installed on tower and have 5m distance between them and the cable length is about 20m and then connect to Device. 2- Yes, Both of them in same PCB. 3- UHF band with narrow bandwidth. and antenna type is omni like as "Laird Technologies FRX450...

    Place TX/RX Antenna?

Because i don't know how to measure it. If possible help me more. ( with block diagram and description) thanks.

how to reduce PA Noise floor

Hello In my system, when the PA (TX chain) is On, the noise floor increase about 10dB and influence (and coupling) in RX chain (RX Sensitivity). Is there a way to reduce PA noise floor regards.
