Audio Tone Control Unit
Hi i'm trying build a tone control unit,
i need help on understanding different sections of the unit work i.e treble Bass and Middle.in relation to frequency and Gain.

is it logical to link the mic and guitar pre amplifiers to one tone control unit.
or should i design a separate tone control section for each of the inputs.
i'm designing an 8 channel audio mixer.
i'm designing the input stages which include a microphone,guitar and cd player.
basically i,m asking for ideas on microphone and guitar pre amplifiers.
