i have read a little about FPGA and CPLD and they say fpga's are faster and more easy to reconfigure. What do you suggest? Do you know a book about fpga's?
I am new to FPGA and CPLD, and i am willing to learn in order to complete my project, but first i want to know fpga's or cpld's are the solution for my project.

fpga led matriz full color
Hello everybody,
I am trying to build a full color & motion led display and I want to know if FPGA's are more suited for this project then led drivers(eg: drivers from Texas Instruments).
I was thinking at 8x8 pixels matrices, each pixel being formed of 3...
hello
i am working at a full color led panel. Currently i am building an 8x8 dot matrix, each pixel being formed from 4 leds (2R1G1B).
How can i use PWM to control the led array, what kind of PIC or IC should i use?
i want the display to be connected to a PC from which i send the movie or the picture to the display.
for the pic i was thinking at PICAXE 08M but i think is to limited and not fast enough so i do not know what to use to make it work right
i basically need the schematics of the led...
i know what you mean, but i want to do this project so if you can help with anything except empty talk please do so.\
All i need is building blueprint for a module
hello everybody,
i don't have a very good knowledge about microcontrollers but i am trying to build a full color LED display which is able to play movies.
can anyone help me with some advices, materials i need, schematics, necessary software and drivers. I have worked with leds before but not...
