Power surges are one of the most feared incidents on electronic devices. Same as a computer, they are really susceptible to power surges. Even though surges usually last only milliseconds (and are somewhat filtered by the transformer in the power supply), that high voltage can exceed the...
Hmm... That was kind of a rough answer :) I'm not a born electronics expert... I'm still at the learning level... Thank you for the advice anyways... So, finally, what you say is increasing current has nothing to do with the range of the phone? I just wish there is some way to increase the range...
Oh...so how can i find out the maximum current the phone can withstand...by the way... am i going on the wrong side... does increasing the amperage concern anything about the range of the phone??
oh thank you... actually i'm using a 9V DC adapter on which it is written 500mA and 1A... But if the phone takes whatever amperage from the 9V supply then why are the adapters rated? I'm unable to understand that... Also, if i'm unable to get the range is there anything i can do to rectify that...
I have a cordless phone rated at 9V 350mA... Can i give more amperage say 1A to it so that i can improve its clarity? It seems to be giving me short range... Can someone please advice me? Does giving more amperage than the rated destroy an electronic device?
Thank you so much Sir. I've read that Wikipedia Article. But I don't seem to have understood something. I mean, I missed out something.
Even if it was meant to "simplify" calculations, does it mean that it doesn't have any significance and that besides being used to simplify equations, it is a...
So you mean to say that if say, by misfortune, the bird puts just one leg in the beginning and then in a split second, the other, it'll still die because it suffered potential difference? I'm sorry, if the question is vague but I didn't quite get your explanation.
I've been thinking a lot but in vain.
1. Can someone explain me clearly what exactly does the term Negative Frequency mean?
2. Does it really exist? What is its significance?
3. What could have been the scenario if there wasn't negative frequency concept?
Please Help.
Your help was invaluable to me. Thank you so much. I might not be able to get the specs of the components unless I have the proper equipment. But can you please advice me on how I can go about designing the common emitter configuration? And the IC that is being used is numbered RX-2 40219287...
I have a small circuit that is used to drive a motor of around 3000 rpm. I don't have the exact circuit but the PCB. It contasins a RX - 2 40319287 IC maybe for RF communication, a spiral antenna and then three leads to which a motor can be connected. The circuit runs on four 1.5V batteries. I...

I was expecting a reply but oh god.... your reply is awesome... Thank you very much. It'll be of great use to me. I do have one thing to say. Will there be any difficulty if I try to do this project in 8051? I mean, AT89C51 or AT89S51... I'm a little...
sample 89c51 microcontroller asm programs
Thank you so much Sir... The first site is invaluable... I'll read the material in that site. Can you please give me a few more sites that have such projects?
assembly 89c51
Oh thank you so much. It is only that I want to learn the coding and designing part for a microcontroller by examples. I'm looking for some complete projects (not that blinking led, 7-segment please) with well commented assembly or C code. I've been looking everywhere but in...
