Now my peer wants it to be done in synchronous topology instead of using diode :(
I am worried about controlling both MOSFETs..
But then I found a driver 'ADP3419'.
With a single input PWM it creates both high side and low side signals..

I am designing a High Power DC DC converter (155V to 88V) Output Current around 40A.
Selected the MOSFET FDL100N50F produced by FAIRCHILD.
The PWM signal will be generated using a PIC microcontroller.
How would I know if a driver circuit is needed?
