I was wondering, if there is a commercial 2.4GHz antenna how would it perform in harmonic frequencies?
Here's an example 2.4GHz monopole antenna.

I checked the specs but it doesn't give any info on harmonic frequencies.
Based on what I learned in basic antenna theory...
while searching through 0ohm resistors, I noticed that all the datasheets that I came across do not have any information about frequency response of the resistor.
I did read a comment somewhere saying that 0ohm resistors tend to work well even at pretty high frequencies but didn't give a...

now I get it. the word 'jumper' was used just because 0 ohm res. are widely used for 'jumper' purposes.
and since for 0ohm, you can't get negative tolerance but only positive values for it, the datasheet prefer to write down 'max res.'.

Why the word 'jumper' as a value for tolerance? What does this mean? Is it somehow related to 'jumper wire'??

Brilliant idea for getting dc values... but in this case, I would like to get the 'frequency' value... I don't think the same method can be used in this case.

when I soldered some SMD components, it looked like the solder mask got a little burnt and these brown sticky stuff was created around the pads. Unfortunately, these unknown residue covered nearby pads that prevented me to solder components to it.

hmm.. your answer kind of answers some part of my question but it also confuses me again on the other.
okay you said the length doesn't necessary have to be quarter wavelength to provide good coupling.
despite this, you still mention that the coupler is 'good' to have a length equal to quarter...
for directional couplers which is nothing but two parallel microstrips adjacent to each other, I can't understand why it has to be quarter wavelength.
My guess is that since coupling is merely interacting with the other microstrip through E, H fields, there isn't any need to be quarter...

Say there's an on chip inductor.
Would the L value of this onchip inductor change if some external magnetic flux is applied?
