Thank you Schmitt, and FVM, seems like, you both are right, it's high current i think is frying the Triac while operating in parallel , followed the suggestion of FVM to have a series resistor with Capacitor, and it looks more stable at initial tests so far, shall need to do extended test...
Hi, yes am switching on a triac before closing other. so switching speeds, has not been a problem, when i turn the fan off, the triac burns. always the q3, triac are rated to 600v, 8A, so well within limits. current is 1A but not sure how much is inrush, however...
Am trying to build a solid state, mcu controlled fan regulator, not by triac pwm but, the one which uses capacitors as step fan regulator which does not make hum, attaching circuit. as you can see, it is replication of mechanical regulator, however uses triacs to switch on off capacitors, so...
Hi,
I have been trying to use Snubberless triac from ST like T1635 to turn on Lighting, Fan loads, and they work fine, however availability and price has been a problem, Is there a different manufacturer who makes similar triacs, and 2A load capacity would be sufficient. Need to avoid...
Thank you everybody, so after making the input pins tied to ground, all is normal now, the current draw is at 5ua. the first pcb I made out of general pcb did not show high power usage but the second one did, so thought I made a mistake or bad chips.
Hi,
I have a circuit that I need to use XOR gate IC using battery power. The chip in question is 74HC86.
As per data sheet the supply current should be between 20 to 40 micro amp, but , if i just power up the chip using vcc and ground, it is using 3 to 7ma of power. tested different...
yes, it's working well now, the in5822 definitely running at lower temp at 2amp load output, pulling 20W at input 10v 2amp delivering 18.5W 13.6v output. , output capacitor after changing, its running very cool compared to original one, not sure it is better one or because it...
sorry my bad , i think what i have is only boost module, this is what i have , nothing related to application just checking voltage regulation range.

has been experimenting with xl6009 module, so suddenly the xl6009 started to take 0.8A at no load and was getting hot, the schottky came off the board due to heat and found that it's short, so have replaced it with IN5822 , replaced output capacitor also with general electrolyte capacitor...
possibly the scenario is two buck converters in series, one charger with load and another converter with a router load, that could be the reason input capacitor blew up. more filtration is required, or run long wires from the battery to the second controller, or even keep a small resistor in...
