Hi All,
Has anybody come across a multichannel ADC which can sample its analog inputs simultaneously ? Most of the multichannel ADCs that I have come across have some sort of multiplexor or S/H circuit, so not simultaneous in real sense but will work for frequencies lower than 1MHz or so.
BR,
Hi All,
I am planning to timestamp some interrupt events in an embedded system I am designing for my class project. Can anyone provide some more details regarding how I can do this ?
Can I use a timing module with stm32 micro(we are supposed to use this micro) ? Can anyone please suggest some...
Hi all,
I frequently have to design circuits involving optocouplers, photo diodes, phototransistors, lasers, power supplies.
Can you please suggest some good book/books ?
Best,
@jason:
I hooked it into the normal USB and took voltage reading across R75. The current flowing through through R75 is close to 500 mA. I will post the oscilloscope readings sometime. I was hoping to remove the spike.

I am using TSM2301CX as a switch to connect to 5V usb. H- brodge...
I have uploaded a rough schematic.. Pls ignore the component numbers and focus on the function(for example, I will use an opamp but with different numbers etc.).
H1, H2, H3, H4 of the h-bridge are controlled with the help of a microcontroller. There are 4 capacitors(not shown in the...
I have to drive motors using power drawn from USB port.
In order to limit the current drawn, I planning to desing a current limiting circuit. Can anyone pls share some current limit architectures ?
Also, wat sort of techniques are used to limit the initial current spike when motor starts...

@btbass if I use a rail to rail opamp and the voltage and the supply is 0-5V and when the input is 0V will that not give wrong output because of the common mode voltage range of opamp? is there an opamp with 0V common mode voltage ?
@godfreyl
also, for generating the gorund(0...
I am a newb in analog desing .
I have to design a circuit using an opamp which amplifies an input signal(0-5V) to upto (0-12V). I am using an opamp for the same. I have a single rail supply (0-24V). The problem is I have to split the rails first before I can use it with an opamp. Is it...
If you choose to implement it using some real time dsp technique, then I can suggest a simple technique, i.e noise cancellation. Assume that people have to stop for breath after every say 3s. Then what ever is coming in is noise. It is not as simple to implement as it sounds in embedded system...
Use of snubbers(an RC circuit parallel to motors) sometimes helps in solving EMI issues.

Hope it helps and correct me if I am wrong,
What's more, it should do this as quickly as possible and provide a high level of accuracy regardless of the effects of aerodynamic loads or other factors.
Yes I admit, my question was not not accurate. My tolerance is +/-70u from the desired position..Is it possible now with RC servo or...
