For this case of yours, the syntax is not correct as you can not use a condition after 'else' statement. So either use 'else' alone (which really would solve your ambiguous real(sn)==0 case ) or use 'elseif' statement with appropriate correction to the condition overlap.
I want to design a microstrip antenna with probe feed from one side and not from below. the probe feed for patch option is not allowing to change the axis of the probe. I can create the probe as a cylinder but can not put a port at one end of the cylinder.
It would really be of great help if...
Hi everyone
I am having a problem with the build wire path option in IE3D. if the inserted vertices are in two different layers then it works fine but when i insert two vertices in the same layer ant try to build a wire with port on one side then it shows first segment is flat and is not...
hi,
I am having a problem with Ie3D regarding the gain-frequency plot. When I take the max directivity and the radiation efficiency data and use Gain(dBi)=Directivity(dBi)+10log(rad efficiency),it is different from the gain frequency plot that IE3D is showing. If I take antenna efficiency instead...
hello odyseus
I think the cost function you are choosing does not represent your case fully. The cost function might become Zero without the angcost and the magcost individualy becoming zero.
Instead of a costfunction with equal weightage you might use a if-else statement for the cost function...
please if anyone can help
I need to find the input power of a line antenna.I am assuming 1V of incident voltage wave from the port onto the line and i know s11.In ie3d manuals Pin=Pinc-Pref but on using Γin(i.e mag(s11)) to calculate Pin (Pin=Pinc(1-|Γin|²)) the result is different from what...
on how to read a .mat file onto matlab, you need to import it from matlab workspace and assign it to a variable.i have not used FEKO so can't help on the other issues.
Hi goldsmith,
you can find the poles and zeros from the transfer function of the network. To adjust their location with feedback, you may
look for various standard techniques such as PD,PI or PID control.Details of these you may find in any control system book.
Hello all
I am having a problem regarding ports in IE3D.I have simulated a geometry separately with advanced extension port and probe feed (with rad 0.63 mm). Feed position is same in both cases. But I am having completely different results.I cannot reason this.So if anyone can please help.
hello everyone,I need some help on how to find out what should be the probe radius for a 50 ohm feed in IE3D.For conventional calculation i need to specify both the inner and the outer radius of the coax. But in IE3D i can specify only the inner radius.
