Could anyone help me with application note/ White paper / IEEE paper relevant to PLL measurements (Frequency/ Amplitude settling).
Regards,

Hi,
Could you suggest me a method for measuring the PLL characteristics(Frequency settling and Amplitude settling due to frequency change). Also which measuring instrument i should use for performing this measurement.

adc simulation ads
Can anybody share their experience (if had) on ADC Simulation using Agilent's EDA tool-ADS (Advanced Design System). I want input regarding BER Simulation for an ADC. Also i like to simulate the sensitivity of the device.
I'll be happy if anyone guides me in right direction...
gprs vs cdma
Hi,
To answer your query in smart way, GSM, EDGE, CDMA all belong to 3GPP evolution. The first and most popular from the above said is GSM technology.
GPRS, SMS etc., are the value added services that they provide. The EDGE is for enhancement of data rate for data services in...
Hi,
DSP is Digital Signal Processing, this subject deals with analyzing the signals and retrieving valuable information hidden in those signals. This also deals with systems and their properties. This is really interesting subject and very vast so that one can explore more on this subject...
Regarding RF trace
Can anyone help me know, why RF traces on a PCB exposed to air and the green solder mask not applied on those areas ? . i have seen this on many RF PCB.
Hi,
To my understanding, the eye diagram is a tool for measuring modulation accuracy, also it is plotted by taking the signal over a period and continously overlaping it.
To get better understanding you can still refer to the below link,

Thank you,:D
hi all,
to my knowledge, backend means the process that are carried after the designing complete vlsi circuit using some software tool. In short it is chip manufacturing process.
Please do correct me if i'm wrong.
Thank you
