    PCB cutout in a BRD file using Cadence Allegro

    Actually I need to cutout a small piece of the PCB in the BRD file, including part of all the layers (planes, traces and pads). But I´m not interested in fabricating it, I just need to save this kind of "PCB biopsy" in another BRD file. Any idea how to do this?

    High power planar antenna

    The antenna will be used in an array, for a remote sensing application. The bandwidth should be from 350 to 450 MHz, with a gain no lower than 9 dB. The area for the array is limited to 1.3x0.8 m. I don't think only in microstrip antennas, but in PIFAs as well. It depends on the power...
