Hello,
If for multilayer PCB, high speed signal is sandwiched between pwr and gnd plane. Does it matter the HS signal better close to gnd plane, ie minimize the noise to pwr plane, or it should be in the middle, ie pwr and gnd has same important factor. Thanks!
me too!!
I have same problem. It can't converge. also some modes with strong imaginary part. I am not sure what that means? (high dissapation, so actually can't exist?). Also I am not confident how to set the PML layer thickness, and air box length, will it effect the result?
any suggestion...
I have his thesis. but I can't find detail discription how he simulate the structure. I want to repeat his result. But from my simulation. It sounds there is convergence problem. Also I am confused for some modes there are strong component in imaginary part, does it has real physical meaning?
thx!
Hi,
I am doing simulation on sievenpiper-like structure, ie: periodic structure with open to air. I put a airbox above my DUT. bottom of DUT is PEC. then I select the top face of airbox as PML. while I am not clear what parameter I should set for "uniform layer thickness" and "minimum radiating...
