Microstrip line in HFSS - help to get given characteristics

Re: Microstrip line in HFSS Hi miki1234. You must increase the computational domain (the airbox in your case) using, for example, the next values: position: -35,-35,-20 XSize: 70 YSize: 70 ZSize: 40 (the values were probed in the second example attached in your file) changing those values...

How to design an EMI Filter?

emi filter choose Hi Saumya_85. There are several EMI filters topologies. I recommend you the book: "EMI Filter design" Richard Lee Ozenbaugh ISBN: 0-8247-8924-5. The best fit can be obtained using an LC filter, but you need to get the toroid which best performance range is in the mitigation...

    Microstripes 7 Tutorial

microstripes 7.0 Hi. The newer version is MICROSTRIPES 2009 delivered by Computer Simulation Technologies (CST). Here is a microstrip patch antenna tutorial (Microstripes 2009). I hope it will be usefull for you.

Microstrip filter and microstrip antenna question

micro strip antennas filter design Hi, as well known we can simulate microstrip filters and micristrip antennas with several EM simulators. If I simulate a DGS low-pass filter, which parameter show me that the filter does not radiate as a microstrip antenna? I want to be sure that the design...

Defected Ground Structures and Defected microstrip structure

Re: Defected Ground Structures and Defected microstrip struc Hi, what are you looking for? Do you need help in the DGS filter design? what kind of filter do you need? If you post your needs may be we could help you. regards

EBG structure tutorials for CST 5.1

Re: ebg under cst pls? Hi abdoeng, I downloaded the file you post, but unfortunatly I have an older CST Microwave Studio version (5), so I can´t open your file with my CST program. Are you implementing the EBG structure on CST Microwave studio? I´m studying the paper published in the microwave...

[Help] EBG simulation by HSFF v.10

Hi. If you attach you desing may be I could help you. I can tell you that you have to define most of the parameters (dielectric loss tangential, lande G factor, etc) in order to obtain the better response. Greetings

Where exactly are EBG structures inserted ?

Re: EBG structures Good explanation. I´m agree with ozgur_io. It depends what are you use it for. Greetings

EBG structure tutorials for CST 5.1

Re: ebg under cst pls? Hi. I´m working with EBG´s with CST, HFFS and EZ-FDTD sotfware, In my opinion HFSS may give you a better aproach instead of CST. I think that CST is more easy to use compared to the HFSS but the simulation results are better. If you describe your problem I´d like to help...

    ebg thesis request pls

fractal antenna +ebg hi heviraf. I´ve been working with EBG´s to mitigate simultaneous switching noise and recently I´m studying DGS to do the same. I´ve designed a mushroom-like EBG in a double layer PCB. I´d like to know more about your project to try to help you. Greetings

    MATCHED TERMINATION simulation : HFSS

matched termination Hi, I´d like to know more about your problem. I suppose that you want to attach a coax cable to a rectangular wave guide, so my question is...Does your wave guide have a 50 Ohms termination in the side where the coax cable must be attached?. Does your coax cable will be the...
