how to display current waveform on oscilloscope? (Multism)

The current through the diode will be proportional to the voltage across the resistor. So, put channel 2 of the oscilloscope on the other side of the resistor and use the math functions on the oscilloscope to display Ch2-Ch1. This will be 100k x [Current through the diode]. -Jonathan

INDUCTANCE AND CAPACITANCE METER USING PIC...LC METER

Simao, Mr. Rice has changed his URL for the project since my post 5 years ago. https://sites.google.com/site/vk3bhr/home/lcm1 You can see pictures of my build at: https://jonw0224.tripod.com/electronics.html The little meter still serves me well. It was a good weekend project. -Jonathan

    PC Based Oscilloscope - USB

Yes. The signal generator is a secondary board. The PCB layouts and the schematics exclude the signal generator and I've separated the signal generator into a seperate project.

    PC Based Oscilloscope - USB

Several years ago, I posted a link to a PC Based Oscilloscope project I was working on. https://www.edaboard.com/threads/79472/ There was some interest, however, most of the requests were for a USB connected oscilloscope. Well, I finally got around to incorporating USB into the project...

being multi intrested is danguruous ?

I think being interested in much is a good thing as long as you manage your time. A person that knows a lot about one thing is not as good of a conversationalist as a person with multiple interests.

Can I control multiple dimmers with a single potentiometer?

Have you measured the amps drawn by the lamps as you decrease the power? As the filament gets cool, the resistance decreases, and the current may increase.

    Wanna buy a oscilloscope

When buying a digital oscilloscope, there are a few things to consider: (1) Analog Bandwidth - the higher the bandwidth, the higher frequency signals you can observe. (2) Sampling Rate - the higher the sampling rate, the higher frequency signals you can observe. The sampling rate should be...

    Running C programs in windows.

No matter which compiler you use, you will be on msdn.microsoft.com a lot. There is not way you can remember all of the function calls available in the Windows API, so I spend most of my time looking up things on there a lot. -Jonathan
