why the thread title is shown as 'vocal recognition using matlab?'. This is misleading. I gave the title as 'FDTD MATLAB', but it has changed some how.
Now how ca I change the title? Any suggestions?

Dear All,
The Elsherbeni Book Codes (MATLAB) are attached. They are arranged chapter wise and will work as independent programs.
The ebook is not yet available.

Yes I do agree partially. The above link contains the full MATLAB code associated with the book but I couldn't find the e-book there.

Yes. The code in en.pudn.com is just the code associated with Chapter 1 and it computes and plots the error associated with forward, backward and central differencing algorithms for approximating a derivative

open source fdtd code
Hi
I think that mpi.lib and mpi.h are part of the MPI library (third party). You need an MPI implementation like MPICH (Open source) for compiling and running the code and these files will be part of that library. More over, these files/file locations should be included in...

Hi,
From a first look I could find a problem in your modified code.
Setting
Ez[23,11:22,23]=0
Ez[23,24:35,23]=0
will not change the orientation of the dipole. It is still in y-direction only, since the variation is in y co-ordinate.
You should change it like:
Ez[23,23,11:22]=0...

CPML is Convolutional PML.
It is more accurate than Berenger's PML.
Moreover the memory requirement for CPML is less compared to Berenger's PML
