Many new companys design the SOC chip too nowadays, maybe they can decrease the price less than ST.But if the price of a new company's chip is less than ST's, maybe the company will have few profits.As we all know, ST is in leading...

performance may not good. :-)
I think the digital desigen may be not difficult,but we need desigen the tv encoder to satify performance, so how to improve its design such as filter ,y/c delay circuit etc.
