Thanks BradtheRad, I am given and require a positive polarity supply. So what is a good argument to pick buck over the other two?
I just picked it because i read it has less ripple compared to boost. Buck-boost i didn't select due to complexity and cost but these
reasons are most likely not good...
Hi,
For a project I am required to drive a buck converter (12->9.8 V) with 1% ripple. Switching frequency of 100kHz.
The pick up has a short circuit limit of 2.2 A so i am setting my Io as 2 A. I have designed the buck with a NMOS
at low side. L is 35u and C is 120u ESR is 18mOhm and RL varies...
