That's right, the 8-15 connection is for detecting the Wiggler ( is the only requirement).
What I am thinking is that there are i/o pins on the CPLD that are pulled low/high in the original Chameleon but shown unconnected in the schemati. Some of these pins can be used as enable...

Was anybody successful building a Raven clone using the schematics posted in this thread ?
I built the pod and programmed it using the Amontec images (BTW some of them are broken !). When I program the Wiggler image, the pod is recognized properly by the Raven/Wiggler tester (rav_tstr.exe)...
