    [SOLVED] Suggest me a counter

The woman selling there has no idea what is available :D I am not sure she even knows what a counter is... I was about to buy sever 4bits and a 4069 for oscillator, but a 4060 with a T flip-flop seems like the better idea. I would have never thought of that, thanks!

    [SOLVED] Suggest me a counter

I know that, but why would I use 3 4bit counters when I can use 1 12bit. Best one I found is HEF4040 but they don't have it in the local shop :(

    [SOLVED] Suggest me a counter

I'm in need of a cheap counter that works with 30-40 MHz clock. Would be cool if it: uses 9v supply is also an oscillator has a lot of outputs Guess I can use 4060 - it is 14bit with oscillator, but it's missing Q10, and that can be a problem

    Display while counting

Thank you, Psurya! Problem is I am not sure how the NOT gates help me. Let's say my counter reaches 0111 and I get a "7" on the screen. Then I reset the counter and it counts to 0100. While it counts the screen still shows "7", but when I'm to reset the counter again I get a "4" on the screen...

    Display while counting

It's like an automatic chronometer actually - a digital counter counts the time for the operation and shows it on the display. What I want is to make it display the result from the last count while counting.
