    Inductor and transformer design methodology!

Dear Goldsmith cant find a PQ4040 in the market here, I have EE42 and EE55 available can they be used instead ? specs for the supply are, freq 100khz, input 220VAC, output 56V 20A will try a SEPIC configuration first, if I fail to get good results then will try a push pull mode. best...

    Inductor and transformer design methodology!

I thought you were going to post a power table for example what size Core should be used for required Watts for example I use a EE25 Core for 15Volts 1.8 Amp, but I am not sure if more power can be attained from this core size I want to make a 1100 watt converter from 220 VAC to 56 Volt DC...

    TD7294 with ac vibrator

if you can be more specific about what you actually require to do maybe then we can help you, uptil now the whole thing is confusing how can you get 50 Volt AC out of an Audio amplifier I fail to understand AC vibrators are different in structure from DC vibrators they need a change in flow...

    Inductor and transformer design methodology!

Dear Goldsmithl can you suggest a ferrite transformer design for the following specs. Buck converter Input 220 VAC ( 312 VDC at the transformer Pri.) Output 56.6 Volt DC 20 Amps with Current and voltage control. Fahim Baig fahimbaig2@gmail.com

    Inductor and transformer design methodology!

Thank you Goldsmith brother for a quick reply, I was not expecting that people read posts daily... :) you are right about the sizing, but over the years I have found out that Designs are not based on 100% calculations, the calculations serve only for a guide line. first thing you look around is...

    Inductor and transformer design methodology!

AOA Dear Goldsmith I have seen the pages and then the discussion about wire size.... do you think it would be better to use Litz wire instead of thick wires as for high frequencies they seem to be more efficient. btw I dont get Litz wire here in the market so i have developed a small gadget to...
